Hello, I’m Sugitha!

I’m a PhD candidate at Western University using artificial intelligence and computational tools to tackle complex problems in biology and medicine. My research focuses on developing AI tools to help discover new antibiotics and better understand diseases. I’m passionate about learning and enjoy sharing that enthusiasm with students. As a tutor, I love building meaningful connections with students and creating an environment where they feel comfortable asking questions, seeking help, and building confidence in their learning. In my free time, I enjoy travelling, reading, and watching movies!
