Hello, I’m Elspeth! I am a student at the University of Calgary pursuing an undergraduate honours degree in Physics. My success in physics and mathematics comes down to creating reliable learning habits, practicing mental flexibility in problem solving, and building academic confidence. While these subjects rely heavily on fundamental knowledge from the classroom, how you apply this knowledge is the key to a successful academic outcome. I am committed to developing personalized learning techniques to fit the needs of each student, whether they are looking to refine their skills or starting from the basics. Outside of academics, I’m a violin/fiddle player and engaging with my community through live music is a big part of my life. I also love the outdoors, so in my free time you can find me cycling along the river or cross- country skiing when it gets a bit colder outside!
