Meet, Jack.

A young man with brown hair, styled back, and a trimmed beard, wearing a navy blue suit jacket and a white dress shirt, smiling against a light grey background.

Hello, I’m Jack!

I’m a Postdoctoral Associate at Western University, where I recently completed my Ph.D. in cancer biology. My research focuses on understanding how ovarian cancer cells adapt to stressful conditions and the cellular processes that support their survival and metastatic progression. Throughout my academic training, I have a developed a strong passion for teaching and mentorship, with experience teaching undergraduate science courses and mentoring students through hands-on research projects.

As a tutor, I enjoy breaking down challenging scientific concepts into clear, approachable ideas and helping students develop the confidence to work through problems independently. My goal is not only to help students understand course material, but also to strengthen their critical thinking, problem-solving, and study skills so they can succeed throughout their education.

Outside of research and teaching, I enjoy staying active, spending time with friends and family, and finding opportunities to get involved in my University and local community.
